“Much like the time leading up to World War I, coalitions and regional blocs could form to contest American supremacy. If one of these entities could consolidate its power quickly enough, a new bipolar world could emerge. Potentially, China, a pan-Arab coalition, or a unified European Union (EU) could become this new superpower.”--Robert DeYeso. Newer World Order The Return to a Multipolar Era 2006

The subprime loan crisis might one day be regarded as the beginning of the end of the era in which the dollar reigned supreme as the world's key currency, the chief economist of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co said Wednesday (March 19).
ICBC Deposes Citigroup as Chinese Banks Rule in New World Order
Submitted by MichaelVail on Mon, 02/04/2008 - 6:39pm.
There's a new world order for banks, and the Chinese, for the first time, are the biggest, with a market capitalization that has made perennial No. 1 Citigroup Inc. a distant also-ran behind Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd., China Construction Bank Corp. and Bank of China Ltd.
Brown's secret talks on 'new world order'
Submitted by MichaelVail on Mon, 01/21/2008 - 6:05pm.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has begun secret talks with other world leaders on far-reaching reform of the United Nations Security Council as part of a drive to create a "new world order" and "global society".
Brown is drawing up plans to expand the number of permanent members in a move that will provoke fears in his country that the veto enjoyed by Britain could be diluted eventually.
Oil price creates a new world order
Submitted by MichaelVail on Wed, 11/07/2007 - 8:06pm.
AS the price of oil surges above the symbolic milestone of $US100 ($106) a barrel - with Malaysia's TAPIS crude hitting $US100.54 yesterday - it is creating new winners and losers across the globe.
In southern China, high oil prices forced Wang Pui, a truck driver, to wait in line 90 minutes the other day to fill up, just to be told he could pump only 98 litres, as China faced spot shortages of petrol and diesel.
When Vladimir Putin was making Russia's bid to be host of the 2014 Winter Olympics last July, he reached into the country's deep pockets, bulging with oil profits, and pledged $US12 billion to turn a Black Sea summer resort into a winter-sports paradise. Russia, which was nearly bankrupt a decade ago, won the Games.

Submitted by MichaelVail on Sat, 09/29/2007 - 2:17am.
A qualitative reordering of power in Asia is challenging strategic stability and reshaping major equations. A new Great Game is under way, centered on building new alliances, ensuring power equilibrium, gaining greater market access and securing a larger share of energy and mineral resources.

Three-metre high security fences, heart-stopping tasers, a bone-smashing water cannon, mobile prison buses and — perhaps most disturbing of all — the threat of automatic incarceration for randomly abducted protesters? Welcome to the growing international phenomenon of “population control”. The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum is in Sydney, and NSW security chiefs are telling you to follow orders, shut up and stay away. Prison cells are ready and waiting if you fail to heed the warning.
North American Union Will Kill The Dollar
Submitted by MichaelVail on Sat, 07/28/2007 - 12:14pm.
Our latest slice of the New World Order will create a common market and currency and a “harmony of laws.” This Union, which is the brainchild of the Council for Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission in 1967, stayed on the back burner until the 80’s, gaining momentum under Reagan. It took a big jump in 2001 with the Bush/Fox “Partnership for Prosperity” and the Union now has a tri-national ministerial-level working group trying for a 2010 North American “community.”
New World Order-New Fix or New Failure?
Submitted by MichaelVail on Thu, 12/28/2006 - 1:15am.
Globalization and the new world order are profound failures. They are based on flawed economic logic that ignores need to have no government intervention in free markets controlled by supply and demand. Democracy can not be created by developing new economic markets based on government corruption. History indicates free states precede free markets. Politcal democracy creates economic democracy not the other way around.
