What news network leads the pack, many times over, in its transmission of gratuitous sexual material and violence? Fox News, of course. Robert Greenwald takes a look at Fox News and its use of gratuitous sex and violence. Here’s a clip:

In the wake of Vice President Cheney's saber-rattling statements over the weekend warning Iran of "serious consequences" if it attempts to develop nuclear weapons, the cable news networks have focused heavily on the prospect of imminent war against Iran.

The television series 24 has long been a controversial show. A show where the lines are blurred between those who want to stop terrorism and those who are the terrorists. Jack Bauer, the protagonist of the show and anti-hero will do anything to achieve his objectives. That includes the torture of innocent people, breaking the law and much more. He seems to be above the law. This show is a constant reminder of the threat of terrorism. The show is loosely based on a famous Navy Seal.

On December 8th Brian Kilmeade on Fox News radio show called "Brian and the Judge" advocated the use of terrorism in Iran to destabilize the country. In previous shows he went into detail on how to decapitate their government which would make for an easy entry into the country for American soldiers. This weak-kneed gutless neoconservative has also rallied for the Bush Administration to create an "Office of Censorship".

Rick Santorum is a complete crackpot so he compares Lord of the rings to the Iraq War.
He incorporates Republican talking points into his analogy. As expected, Stephen Colbert made Santorum look like a
blithering idiot.  The idea that Iraq is the hot spot for terrorism makes the US safe is asinine, in fact it is creating a whole
new breed of terrorists. When you take into account that our back door is dilapidated and unlocked it makes our nation
very vulnerable.
