GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- A 37-year-old former caseworker for Child Protective Services has been charged with having sex multiple times with a teenage girl he supervised. Fredrick Shavers remained jailed Saturday, facing six charges that he had sex with the girl over a two-year period. Police said the girl, now 17, told them she was 15 when the relationship began and that they sometimes had sex in front of her infant son.

NOBLESVILLE -- Hamilton County Prosecutor Sonia Leerkamp painted a former Child Protective Services worker as a predator today in her opening arguments of a jury trial.
