EVERY car coming into Manchester is being snapped by a new network of police spy cameras. Each day, 600,000 motorists' journeys are being captured, and the data will be stored for five years.
Police zero tolerance policy has big impact

POLICE – who are stepping up their stance of zero-tolerance on all law-breakers – literally went to town last week.
They spent a whole day trawling the centre issuing parking tickets, speeding penalties, warrants for non-payment of fines, checking out pubs, scooping up truants and taking them back to school, and generally keeping a high profile in the community.
