Bank of Canada Governor David Dodge Says North American Union And Single Currency 'Possible'
WASHINGTON — Bank of Canada Governor David Dodge says North America could one day embrace a euro-style single currency.
But to get there, Canada, the United States and Mexico must first tear down barriers to the free flow of labour, which he pointed out Monday have “gotten a bit thicker” in recent years.
Answering questions from the audience after a speech in Chicago, Mr. Dodge said a single currency was “possible.”

North American Union Cabal Meet In Ottawa To Dismantle National Borders And Sovereignty
OTTAWA (AP) -- Promoting prosperity topped the agenda at a gathering of U.S., Canadian and Mexican Cabinet leaders Friday, but immigration and the threat of terrorism also were key topics at the gathering.
Nine foreign and security ministers from the North American nations met in Ottawa, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.
The Security and Prosperity Partnership talks were a lead-up to a meeting of the countries' leaders this August in Canada.
Arizona State University Trumpets North American Union In Their "Building North America" Curriculum
Arizona State University is allegedly teaching that the U.S., Mexico and Canada need to be "integrated" into a unified pro Big Business superstate, where U.S. citizens of the future will be known as "North Americanists," according to the taxpayer-funded "Building North America" program.
The program openly advocates for the "integration" of economic issues across the continent, and in many places goes further – such as the call for a common North American currency.
